Maribel Bunin is a seasoned aerospace executive and the founder of Flyt Contracting Services. She has a deep and diverse background in aerospace contracting, with significant experience in both commercial and government sectors.

 

Maribel has held leadership roles at major aerospace companies, including Thales Aerospace, Parker Hannifin, and Meggitt Services & Support. As Director of Commercial & Contract Management, she excelled in reducing risk, increasing revenue, drafting contracts, contributing to business strategies, and leading teams of contract managers and attorneys. Her responsibilities also included defining roles and responsibilities within Contract Management and implementing key processes and procedures for both pre-award and post-award activities.

 

Her expertise spans the full spectrum of aerospace contracting, with a particular focus on managing obligations across finance, legal, engineering, sales, supply chain, support services, operations, and manufacturing. She has extensive experience working with commercial and government customers worldwide, always ensuring clear communication and sound business strategy.

 

Before stepping into executive leadership roles, Maribel worked at The Boeing Company, where she served in the Supplier Management organization for the U.S. Air Force's C-17 Program. She also served as Contract Manager for the Delta IV Program, handling customer relations, program execution, and proposal development for the U.S. Air Force.

 

Maribel's business, Flyt Contracting Services, was initially engaged by Meggitt, marking the company's first client. She played a pivotal role in leading the business aspects of Meggitt’s enterprise footprint consolidation in the Americas, focusing on customer obligations, strategic recommendations, and driving aftermarket growth. Through strong leadership, negotiation skills, and teamwork, Maribel achieved notable success, delivering impactful results for her clients.
